چکیده
The paper mainly aims at improving the performance and reduction in exhaust emissions of an indirect injection diesel engine fuelled with alternative modern biofuel Pinus Sylvestris oil, which is traditionally oxygenated obtained from resins tree. Its physical chemical properties are similar to regular petro-diesel fuel can be used without transesterification directly engines. On other hand, a lower cetane value hangs its direct use Hence, experiment followed complementary approach supplementing small dosages gaseous Hydrogen (GH2), highly flammable, colorless, odorless, plenty available overcome demerits nature emissions. Gaseous was inducted through inlet manifold controlled by Timed Manifold Injection (TMI) 5% 7% total energy step 1%. In addition GH2 supplementation, preheating air range 40 0 C 60 increment 10 allowed suck same manifold. Supplementation 6% preheated showed better results than conventional operations any modifications. All required NFPA Class I Division 2 Group B standards this were considered during handling Hydrogen.

Enhancement of a Diesel Engine Inlet Port for Pollutant Reduction and Performance Optimization
This research uses computational modeling to explore another method to increase diesel engine performance while maintaining low pollutant emission levels. Previous studies have shown that injection-rate profiles and injector configurations play important roles on the performance and emissions of particulate and NOx in DI diesel engines. Since the most important engine design parameters, includi...

Non-road diesel engines are significant contributors to air pollution in the United States (USEPA, 2004). These engines emit particulate matter (PM), nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and other pollutants. The Clean Air Non-road Diesel Rule was put in place to reduce emission levels from agricultural, construction, and industrial diesel powered equipment. This rule calls for a reduct...
متن کاملExperimental Study of Hydrogen Addition Impact on Emissions and Performance of a Natural Gas Fueled Engine
Hydrogen is seen as one of the important energy carriers of the future with potential to reduce local as well as global warming. The main by-product of the combustion of hydrogen in air is water vapor and trace quantities of oxides of nitrogen. An experiment was conducted to study the impact of hydrogen/natural gas blends on performance, thermodynamic efficiency and exhaust gas emissions in ...

In this study, various percentage of DEE was added to the optimum selected ethanol-diesel blend (D-E10) and optimized its blending ratio to overcome the poor ignition quality of ethanol when utilized in a single cylinder DI diesel engine. Some physicochemical properties of test fuels such as heating value, viscosity, and density and distillation profile were determined in accordance to the A...
متن کاملEffects of Canola Oil Biodiesel Fuel Blends on Combustion, Performance, and Emissions Reduction in a Common Rail Diesel Engine
In this study, we investigated the effects of canola oil biodiesel (BD) to improve combustion and exhaust emissions in a common rail direct injection (DI) diesel engine using BD fuel blended with diesel. Experiments were conducted with BD blend amounts of 10%, 20%, and 30% on a volume basis under various engine speeds. As the BD blend ratio increased, the combustion pressure and indicated mean ...
